Rent ATV Santa Teresa ("we", "us") operates rentatvsantateresa.com. This page explains what information we collect when you use this site or contact us, and how we use it. We do not sell your information to anyone.

Information we collect

What you send us. When you message us on WhatsApp to ask about or book a rental, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, phone number, travel dates, number of riders, and where you are staying. We use this only to arrange and deliver your rental.

What is collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use this site — pages viewed, general location, device and browser type, and how you arrived here. This is general usage data, not information that identifies you personally.

We do not run a contact form, a newsletter sign-up, or user accounts, and we do not collect payment information through this website. Rentals are paid for in person, at pickup.

Cookies

This site uses cookies set by Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to measure how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time — doing so will not stop you browsing the site or messaging us on WhatsApp.

How we share information

• With the independent local ATV vendor fulfilling your booking, so far as needed to arrange your rental — see our Terms & Conditions for how rentals are provided.
• With service providers that help us run this site — currently Google (analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting).
• We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone else for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep WhatsApp conversations for as long as WhatsApp itself retains them for us, and we do not maintain a separate customer database beyond what is needed to arrange and deliver your rental.

Your rights

Under Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 (Protection of the Person Regarding the Processing of Their Personal Data), you can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message us on WhatsApp to make a request and we will respond as quickly as we can.

Children

This site and our rentals are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
